Global Business Partner Summit unveils new offerings

NIIT India held its Global Partner Summit under the slogan "ONE WORLD. ONE NIIT." at WESTIN SPA and Resorts, Sohna, India. The event, which holds a prestigious place in the calender of NIIT International Education Business, was attended by Business Partners from across Globe including Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Oman, Nigeria and Ghana, among others.
The Summit provided us an opportunity to 'Dream and Visualize a Future that is Promising, Exciting and Prosperous'. We witnessed roll-out of several growth initiatives from NIIT and its technology partners. Many of these initiatives have a potential to completely and positively transform our business and put us on a high growth trajectory.
NIIT unveiled the 'Power of Partnerships' with Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, compTIA, CISCO and Adobe. The revised all-powerful Mastermind V2, thats offers specialization in software engineering on one side and Networking and Infrastructure Management on the other, was also show-cased.
Business Partners were also exposed to NIIT's capability in multiple domains. Presentations were made by:
ifbi - Institute of Finance, Banking and Insurance (a joint venture with ICICI Bank, the largest private bank in India). The Institute, which has 100% placement record , offers Honours Diploma and PG Diploma in Finance, Banking and Insurance studies.
NIIT UNIQUA Centre for Process Excellence - that offers BPO/KPO and ITeS training (a joint venture with GenPact, No. 1 BPO outfit).
NIIT UNIVERSITY - that is positioned to be the leader in innovation and learning in emerging areas of the knowledge society by fostering research, discovery and sustainablility. The University launched in November 2009 boasts of a novel GREEN architectural marvel that is not only eco-friendly but also fosters talent through its B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD programs in Computer Science & Engg, Educational Technology, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology among others.
NIIT eGuru - The Joy of Learning - an Initiative for school learning solutions that trains over 5,000,000 students across more than 9,500 schools and has deployed more than 50,000 computers across schools in India.
NIIT Ghana walked away with many prizes namely "Partner of the Year - Operational excellence", "Outstanding contribution to ICT Education in the society" and "Long term Enriching Partnership".
There is no doubt that 2010 will see major revolution in Ghana pioneered by NIIT.
