NIIT & University of Education, Winneba announce B.Sc. Information Technology Program
NIIT has forged an alliance to offer UEW’s acclaimed Degree Programme - B.Sc. Information Technology in Ghana. With this alliance / partnership, students have acquired a chance to obtain an accredited degree in IT without leaving the country. This degree programme builds upon the study that students would have completed with NIIT.
This Affiliation with UEW would go a long way in further improving IT expertise in the country. The students will gain dual qualification namely Professional Diploma in IT from NIIT-India along with B Sc Degree in IT from UEW-Ghana. Under this affiliation, NIIT students will also have the privilege to have advance standing admission in Level 300 directly after completing two years of NIIT program.
Speaking about NIIT's plans in Ghana, Mr. Kapil Gupta, Managing Director of NIIT Ghana, said, "This alliance further builds on the academic validation of NIIT Programmes with nearly 20 universities worldwide and brings UEW’s accredited qualifications to NIIT students, in their own country.”

About University of Education Winneba
Founded in 1992, UEW is among the six public universities in Ghana. It is a multi-campus, multi-site university. It has three main campuses, One at Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana, and the other two at Kumasi and Mampong all in the Ashanti Region.

The programme will be conducted by NIIT faculty specially trained on the UEW’s curriculum. The students will be examined and certified directly by the UEW’s Examination and Assessment Board.
