Social media as a communication tool has revolutionized the way in which brands talk and interact with their consumers, creating a two-way environment where the consumer is in charge.
In this course, we introduce students to the different social media platforms that exist currently, with some of them being more popular than others, how different social sites and/or
apps have their different functions. For example, think of Facebook like your home, YouTube is like Silverbird Cinema, Twitter is like your favorite hang out spot in Osu,
LinkedIn is like your office and Instagram is like an art gallery.
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the social media tools and the social online community space where users can engage, share, spread, cooperate, interact, learn and enjoy.
